     During these couple of weeks, our class completed a series of presentations about important changemakers throughout our history. Each group focused had to choose different individuals from a certain time period and explain how that individual influenced society, politics, science, or equality. Listening to all the presentations helped me learn about so many people who I had little or no prior knowledge before. Also, I found it very interesting to see and compare how every group approached research differently and how different students had their own way of presenting information. This could be tied back to our first presentations as some people spoke very confidently, which made their presentation seem more successful, while others seemed a little nervous and struggled a bit more to get their information out, however, they still explained their topics well.      I just recently did a presentation with my group on change makers of the 1800's. Each group did their own time period: starting from the constitutional writers all the way to the 2000's - present time. As an individual, I studied John D Rockefeller and spoke about the great things he has done in this world with his wealth. I learned alot during my time researching and presenting, not only about Rockefeller but all the other change makers my group members researched. During this assignment, I improved my public speech and research skills. I felt more confident this time when I was speaking (I was nervous before my part, though) and felt a lot more knowledgeable talking about my change maker. This was due to the presentation's interesting topic. Learning about the change-makers was definitely the best part of the whole project, and I am sure my classmates would agree with me. During this unit, our class explored different eras of American changemakers and the people who helped shape the country we live in today. Each group focused on a different time period and presented individuals who made important contributions to society. Watching all of the presentations helped me learn more about history, but it also gave me the chance to observe how different students present information, explain ideas, and handle public speaking.  The first group focused on the constitutional authors, the leaders who helped create the foundation of the United States government. Each group reflected on different individuals and the amazing impacts they had on society.      For Group #1 The first group of change makers helped build the foundation of the United States government. These leaders were involved in creating the Constitution and shaping how American democracy would work.      To start off, I think having a good project like this was very useful and somewhat interesting at least for me. Not only because of who I did or my timeline, but I also got to learn other timelines. This helped me learn about new people and get more knowledge about our history. This also explain why they were so important explaining how they helped shape our country in so many different ways. It also showed how confident and nervous some are, but they still did a great job presenting their person. overall, this assignment it not only good to get out of our comfort zone but also makes you realize what you can improve by seeing others present.       Secondly, the first group talked about the constitutional authors. Throughout this unit, our class explored different eras of American changemakers, and each group approached their presentations with unique perspectives, research styles, and speaking strengths. Watching all four groups helped me understand not only the historical impact of the figures they chose, but also the different ways students communicate information, handle nerves, and engage an audience. As I listened to each presenter, I found myself paying attention to both the content and the delivery, how clearly, they spoke, how confidently they presented, and how effectively they used their slides or videos. Altogether, these presentations gave me a deeper appreciation for the individuals who shaped our country.
